Team 231, Pasadena robotics, won the Lone Star regional competition last weekend for the second year in a row. We also were awarded the prestigious ”Xerox Creativity in Design” award for our ball-gathering system.



Regionsl winners

The Pasadena ISD Robotics Team (High Voltage) won the Lone Star F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Regional Competition @ Reliant Arena this past weekend. Of the 40 teams competing, High Voltage was ranked #2 to qualify for the quarterfinals. High Voltage allied with two other teams, Clear Creek ISD and a New Mexico team to win all quarter, semis, and final matches. This is the first regional banner/ trophy the Pasadena ISD robotics team has won in its 8 year history. The team also was awarded the “Motorola Quality Award” for the robot’s arm-control integration system. Next up… Atlanta, GA for the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics National Competition.
