From Texans to Trojans

The Dobie Longhorns smashed the Sam Rayburn Texans, crippling them with a score of 66-0 in Friday’s district matchup Oct 26.

     Dobie now improves their record to 5-3 with this win, while the Texans’ 0-8 struggles continue.

    The Horns were charging on all fours as they ran a total of 505 yards and forced three fumbles. Darius Hale and Kris Morris led the team in touchdowns as they both rushed for 2 touchdowns. Adam Robicheaux had the longest run of the night, a 61-yard touchdown sprint.  

    Wide receiver Cameron Guy had a solid night, catching a pass from quarterback Noah Roman for a 16-yard score.  He also ran for a 41 yard touchdown during the game.

    With this win, the Longhorns currently sit in fifth place in the standings while their upcoming opponents, the South Houston Trojans, sit in 4th place with a record of 6-2.

The Horns host the South Houston Trojans in a district outing Friday, Nov. 2.
