As the holiday season begins to get into full swing, journalism students decided to go around campus and check in with the organizations and staff to see how they are preparing.

Mr. Acosta, head director of the color guard association, is decorating the band hall for their support throughout the year.

“The band means a lot to us, so we will get together and put up a tree and decorate through the band hall for our spirit,” Acosta said.

Following this spirit, the fine arts program is doing a celebration for our feeder elementary schools.

Student leadership from those programs came together and decorated the auditorium.

“It means a lot to see a tree with lights as it is a classic representation of Christmas and it makes me happy to see the fourth graders filled with joy at the sight of them,” said choir student Andrew Garcia.

The school has been very festive with setup of the auditorium, cafeteria, and several classrooms.

Outside of fine arts activities, the rest of the school is preparing for the season with many traditional decorations, such as Christmas trees, stockings, and also many exchange gifts through Christmas games and parties.
