The Dobie Key Club, HOSA, and NHS will hold their annual KOSA social in the cafeteria Saturday, Nov. 3, from 2-5 p.m.

The KOSA social is a social where the three clubs come together and bring awareness to a certain type of disease. This year they have chosen to highlight diabetes. To bring awareness to diabetes, the coordinators of this social ask that everyone who is planning to go to wear blue.

Not only is this social bringing awareness to the disease, it is also raising money for Diabetes.

“We charge members $1 and non-members $3.” Said Key Club officer Elina Nguyen.

Those dollars have a purpose, too.

“Some of the money raised is going towards funding the social,” HOSA secretary Kennedy Ho said, “…while the rest is going to the American Diabetes Association.”
