WHAT IS FCCLA?
Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a nonprofit national career & technical student organization for young men and women in Family & Consumer Science classes in public and private schools through grade levels 9-12. FCCLA is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young adults become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Science Education.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Any 10th - 12th grader who has taken or is currently enrolled in a Family & Consumer Science (FCS) class or related course. Not sure? Speak with an adviser!

HOW DOES FCCLA HELP MEMBERS?
FCCLA challenges members to assume leadership roles at the local, district, state, and national levels.
Chapter advisors, who are family & consumer science teachers, help members develop leadership skills to use at home, at work and in the community. Chapter members create and carry out projects that address concerns like:

FCCLA PURPOSES
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education.
